The first step to qualifying to be able to invest in visionaries with other awesome people, seeding businesses you can trust, and being part of their growth is to register as a Fundstrtr member. Once you have found the right business you can support and you’re ready to make your first investment, simply click ‘Invest Now’ on the pitch page. You can invest from as little as $10 (although you will be prompted to make your investment in an exact multiple of the share price) to help fuel their growth.

You will be prompted with the minimum investment amount in the pitch, or the closest multiple of the share price when making an investment.

You can pay for your investment via our third party payment provider. You can use a debit, credit or prepaid card. Also, we are unable to accept payment by cheque or bank transfer.

Once the business you’ve backed has successfully funded and is closed for investment, you will be emailed a copy of the adopted Articles of Association to review. There will then be a cooling off period, which generally lasts around Forty-Eight (48) hours. During this period, you can choose to reduce or withdraw your investment if you wish. You can do this by contacting the team.

To invest with Fundstrtr and help fund the visionaries you must be over 18 years old and legally entitled to invest. Anyone who is not an *Alien* can invest, all humans from any country in the World can invest.

When creating your Fundstrtr account, please make sure you create it in your own name or corporations name, as we can’t accept joint investments. You’ll also be asked to choose an investor type (such as everyday, professional, Institutional etc) and complete a quick questionnaire. This quiz is to ensure you understand the high-risk nature of investing in start-ups and early stage businesses. If you receive independent advice you aren’t required to fill out the questionnaire.

One way you can make a return from your investment is by selling your share(s)/stock(s) for more than you paid for it. However, we don’t have an active secondary market for equity investments, so you won’t be able to sell your share(s)/stock(s) straight away. Hopefully, the business will grow to a point where it does an IPO and floats on a stock exchange market, is bought by a larger company, or the company management buy back equity from investors. At that point, you are more likely to be able to sell your shares. Alternatively, some companies may become profitable and able to pay dividends.
